It went by on the highway, no way I could get a picture, hard to say exactly but it appeared to be a late 80’s. It looked like a turbo convertible slant nose with the hard double bubble cover for the soft top, like the speedsters have. Anyway it sure is a way to scream that you are driving a middle aged turbo, not quite Countach attention but it looked nuts. I did see the guy from around here with his dark purple Diablo too, so elusive for me to get a pic of that one. I never see him, once in awhile, I do know what neighborhood he lives in but I’m sure it’s garaged.

I recall when they came out with the slant nose - did not like it. I believe it was a factory option, but I don’t remember.

It was a factory option. I don't care for them either really, but they are rare

True - I think I’ve seen maybe 2 in my life.

Oh I don’t like it, it’s just kind of a unicorn. Though there are a couple I like a lot, they have to have the race front end with the lights built in, the straight street slant nose is terrible though.

Say what you will about Porsche having the laziest design studio in the industry (Clarkson does) but I think they’ve made the 911 better looking every time they’ve refreshed it.
